It's Christmas already!!
Hello Vibers!
Yes - can you believe it? Christmas already! How many times have you heard the phrase "How fast has this year gone?" in the last week?!
Well it has been a busy month for us at Rock Your Vibe. We have been working away to bring you some new products, ideal for Christmas Gifts, and are thrilled to announce our new range of Harmony shirts exclusive to Rock Your Vibe (see below!). We also have some gorgeous new journals, notebooks and keyrings (Perfect gifts for the kid's teachers) As well so some inspirational gift books.
There's definitely something for the girls with this month's wallpaper - have a look right to see what I mean! You can thank me later :-)
Also the Christmas break and leading into the New Year can be a great time to sit down and take stock of the past year. Its a great idea to look back on it with appreciation for all you have received/achieved before moving on to those New Years Resolutions! We have a great e-booklet to help you - Applied Appreciation.
Myself and the team wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (we hope Santa is good to you) and look forward to sharing with you again next year!
Sending you positive vibes,

Text Yourself!?
Ever noticed how it's sometimes easier to write something to someone rather than say it?
Texting, emalling, MSNing, Twittering, Facebooking, MySpaceing... the opportunities to contact someone any other way rather than actually face to face or even on the phone are endless. And I don't think that's about to change any time soon.
People are using all of this new technology for nearly every reason you can think of from getting their husband to pick up the milk on the way home, chatting to their school friends all night long, to organising hot dates and even having all your photo's from your latest night out online (before some of the other guests have even made it home!)
Don't get me wrong - it definitely saves a lot of time to be able to communicate this way... But what about the more important issues which are now being dealth with in this way - people telling loved ones really important messages using technology because they haven't got the guts to tell them face to face. I mean - dare I say it - people are even breaking up via text....
Is it actually easier to get your message across this way? Maybe the fact that most SMS's are limited to around 160 characters helps you to be more succinct in getting your message across. I guess the fact that you can read and re-read your chat before you click send... could help to prevent you saying something you might regret in the heat of the moment. Maybe you are just plain scared.
Anyway all of these new ways of communicating with others got me to thinking.... If we are so busy getting Linked In, You Tubing and Flocking with everyone we know... When are we stopping to talk to ourselves? Not in a crazy talk out loud way (not that there's anything wrong with that... Is there?... phew...). But I mean in an actual honest way. When something big happens for us - are we stopping even for a moment to see how we feel about it before quickly getting online and updating our status on Facebook? Before asking from feedback from those around us - have we checked in to see what it is we really want?
If we are finding it hard to talk with others - maybe we are finding it just as hard to talk with ourselves. If you can, take some time this week to observe your own habits and see how this is playing out for you.
And if you have something important to tell yourself... Why don't you TEXT YOURSELF.
Go on. I double dare you!!
