The New Year is well and truly under way!
Hello Vibers!
Here we are in February, with Christmas and New Year well behind us and charging into the year ahead!! And we have certainly had some heat to go with it here in Australia!
There are a couple of themes in this month's Vibe-Up with our feature subject being Hidden Messages in Water, some interesting theories by Dr Emoto which are definitely food for thought. So in keeping this month's wallpaper and Vibe TV clip also have a water theme.
I've also been caught up in the world of time travel, popping along to see Brad Pitt (it was tough!) in the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and reading the wonderful book The Time Travellers wife - which also lead me to this months article.
I'm absolutely loving our latest Poetic Pieces Silver Jewellery. They are so gorgeous the only problem I'm having is deciding what to wear next! Perhaps a few hints for Valentines Day are in order!
I'll be in touch soon to bring you up to date with the latest Kimmidoll collection! In the meantime enjoy the month of LOVE that is February!
Sending you positive vibes,

If you could turn back time...
I came across an article the other day showing a newspaper clipping of the first ever reported car accident. Two cars had collided - there were no injuries, but back in the days where there probably weren't very many cars on the road at the same time, let alone crashing into each other, this was a big deal. The article finished by saying "Hopefully an accident such as this will never happen again".
Fast forward a few hundred years and we now have hundreds of car accidents a day. It's something that is just part of life for us and while we are constantly improving safety measures and updating road rules to reduce the number of accidents - it is not feasible that we could ever stop them from happening all together. Cars have been one of the biggest inventions of our time and the amazing impact and benefits they have in our lives are unquestionable. Even knowing the devastation that they can cause - most of us would not consider life without them.
Now imagine if we could travel back in time to that very first car accident and tell the inventors the statistics of car accidents here in the present. Without them being able to comprehend the big picture and the many advantages they have brought us - what do you think their reaction would be? Do you think they would have continued to produce cars - or do you think they would have decided the cost was too great and stopped?
This got me to thinking - usually when we start out towards a big goal - we really have no idea where it's going to take us or how things will end. And that can be scary. But would knowing the end result before we even begin be just as scary? Perhaps if we saw how big things would get, it might seem too overwhelming to take the first steps. We might feel we aren't capable of doing what is required to get there.
I think there really is something to the old saying "The journey of 1000 miles begins with just one step". Every goal, path and journey is, at the end of the day, broken down into many steps, challenges and opportunities. By just taking things one step at a time and doing only what we can handle in the moment - we can grow towards our dreams and enjoy the surprises and results along the way.
So if you have any of those New Years resolutions you have already swept to the side thinking the task is too overwhelming to even begin - get it back out - take another look - and break it down to just one step you can take today. You never know where it might take you! Imagine where we would be without cars...
